The previous kitchen was a small L-shape with very little countertop space and no backsplash. This was modified into a U-shape to add an extra leg of countertop and storage while staying in the same footprint. The existing cabinets were repurposed and painted a sage green, new hardware, light fixtures, and appliances installed, laminate countertops switched out for custom-made concrete, and tile flooring to replace vinyl sheet.
