This formerly modest rambler with a shallow roof was dramatically transformed into a classic colonial-style home by switching out the roof trusses for a steeper pitch and adding dormer windows to provide upstairs living space. Windows were replaced throughout, siding painted white, brick stained to more classic English reds, and a front portico added. Thoughtful, historic design was incorporated into all the details such as eave returns and trimwork to make this late 1960s build appear timeless.
