This home, built in the 1940s, previously only had a small tuckunder garage. The tuckunder was converted into patio door basement access and a large detached garage/ accessory dwelling unit was created. Dark vertical siding was chosen to lend a modern look while incorporating red brick accents to tie it to the main structure. Hardscaping was also added, including concrete steps to the front door, paver paths, several retaining walls, and a cedar privacy fence to tie everything together.
