Project Scope: Full kitchen relocation, custom cabinetry and woodwork (island, range hood, trim), flooring, and backsplash.

This kitchen was relocated from another area of the home to create a larger space with an open layout and increased natural light.

Matt designed and constructed each component of the kitchen, including the island, cabinetry, range hood, and trim. The design draws inspiration from traditional European kitchens, with a focus on creating a functional, working space built around timeless proportions, rich woodwork, and brass hardware.

An emerald green, zellige-inspired tile was selected for the backsplash, paired with a large-format porcelain marble floor laid in a classic checkerboard pattern. Full-height windows were added on parallel exterior walls, flooding the kitchen with natural light.
