This kitchen was relocated from another area of the house to allow a larger space, more open concept, and much more natural light. Matt designed and constructed each component, from the island to cabinetry to range hood and trim. Design inspiration was pulled from DeVol with a thoughtful vision of a functional, working kitchen with timeless, old-world elements of rich woodwork and brass hardware. A zellige-like emerald green tile was chosen for the backsplash, and a large scale porcelain marble in checkerboard pattern for the floor.
